Wieland has acquired Lone Star Casting & Machine, a supplier of centrifugally cast and semi-finished aluminum-bronze bushing blanks and cylinder shapes. Founded in 2004, the company offers services such as custom alloying, induction melting, centrifugal casting, thermal processing, and machining for clients primarily in the aerospace industry. All phases of the production process are controlled in-house by a team of skilled trades professionals at the company’s single location in Kilgore, Texas.

The acquisition further strengthens Wieland’s market position in North America with expanded product offerings and manufacturing capabilities. The transaction officially closed on May 31, 2023.
