Can I apply for several positions at the same time?
Yes, simply apply for the positions that interest you. The application form is largely filled in automatically via the "Upload CV / Resume" button.
What do I do if I cannot find a suitable position?
You can always send us an unsolicited application. Please indicate your field of interest. We will coordinate with the respective department on whether we can offer you the desired position.
How long before the hiring date should I apply?
You should apply as soon as you have identified a position you find interesting. Any position we post can be filled immediately. We will take your notice periods into consideration.
Do you also conduct phone interviews?
We will conduct phone interviews in the event that, e.g., meeting in person is not possible.

As an entry level applicant, you should apply three or four months before your desired start date.

When can I find opportunities for internships and topics for my final thesis in the job portal?
Internships are available at any time throughout the year. For the Winter semester, we publish available opportunities starting in March, and for the Summer semester starting in September.
Topics for final theses are rarely posted. But we are always on the lookout for talent and unsolicited applications are welcome. Please indicate in your cover letter which departments you are interested in (e.g. Quality Management, IT). We will then check with the department as to whether you can write your thesis with us.

What should I do if I cannot find a suitable internship or opportunity to write a final thesis?
You can always send us your unsolicited application. Please indicate in your cover letter which departments you are interested in (e.g. Manufacturing/Production, Finance). We will coordinate with the respective department as to whether we can offer you the desired internship or topic for your final thesis.
How long before the desired start date should I apply?
Approximately five months before; and we also welcome your application as soon as our openings are posted online.
Which documents do I need for an online application?
University students must send us their application documents, a current grade overview and a matriculation certificate.
What should I do if I am interested in two different apprenticeships?
If you are interested in two training tracks or degree programs for dual studies, we recommend indicating your second choice in the online form.
How long before the desired hiring date should I apply?
Offers for training track or dual studies at Wieland are published in the spring of the previous year, e.g. training track/study begins in 2022 in spring 2021. It is advisable to apply as early as possible.
Which documents do I need for my online application?
