“I ensure efficient heat transfer.”
I am a team player through and through. If I get excited about something, then I want to do it really well. This applies when I play hand ball and when I make music. I have been playing the saxophone since I was 13 and have competed nationally; I have played in Rome, Hamburg and Vienna, and even won a few awards – playing solo, as a trio or with my quartet. From this perspective, I am a team player in the truest sense of the word. I took the same approach when I started the vocational training to become an industrial business manager with an additional qualification. I also wanted to achieve best possible results in this endeavor, which is why I opted for Wieland. The company is known throughout the region for its outstanding training program.
„With drive and expertise, one can go far at Wieland.“

Everybody helps each other
My customers are all around the globe. I am with them from the moment they place an order with us until they receive our product and the invoice has been paid. A good day at the office for me is when things work. When we are productive, keep everything running smoothly, respond to customer queries and are able to solve problems quickly. We are a relatively small team that works well together in a friendly atmosphere. Everybody helps each other. We laugh a lot. New colleagues quickly feel comfortable in our department. Highly communicative people, who are not afraid of challenges and have organizational talent will quickly become part of the team.
International opportunities
I was already able to gather international experience during my vocational training at our thermal solutions site in Portugal and in London during an IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) continuing education course which was supported by the foundation Berufsbildungswerk Philipp Jakob Wieland. In 2018, I spent four months working at our plant near Chicago. My role there was to temporarily support the Sales team. Initially, this was a little overwhelming. But I ended up being quite proud of how well I managed to fulfill my responsibilities there. I would like to build on this. At the moment, I am studying business administration at the AKAD University in a distance learning program – supported by a grant from the foundation “Begabtenförderung berufliche Bildung.” I would like to later specialize further and study international business and English business communication.
